The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) was established in 1976 with the aim to supervise and maintain the standards of secondary education in the state of Tripura. The TBSE has been conducting the public exam, "Madhyamik Pariksha" (secondary examination) for class 10 since 1976 and also introduced the Madhyamik Madrassa education in 2009. TBSE prescribes the course syllabus and textbooks. It publishes important exam notifications related to the Secondary Examinations, on its official website, tbse.in. Registration fee for Madhyamik exams: Rs.100

Exam fee for regular candidates: Rs.120
